“I cannot recommend Ella highly enough. When I made my first appointment with her I was in a very dark place and was frequently self-harming.
I have had three separate but severe periods of trauma in my life, which together had left me with self hatred and feeling completely overwhelmed and fearful of never feeling happy or purposeful again. I have had multiple periods of CBT over several decades, and although I’ve found them to be useful at the time, I became desperate for the past traumas themselves to be fixed.
Whilst changing the past is obviously impossible, Ella used a combination of hypnotherapy and EMI with me to re-visit some of my most painful memories and help to connect them with happier memories, thereby reducing my fear and feelings of guilt and despair and helping me to make sense of my emotions. She has added to the hypnotherapy and EMI with TRE, helping me to learn to apply the trauma release techniques myself.

“I have had anxiety all my life, but lately I had also been suffering severe health anxiety which was triggering frequent migraines and auras. There was a long wait for NHS talking therapies so I looked for other types of help to try while I waited.
While looking I found Ella’s website and I was drawn to what she had to say. I had tried Hypnotherapy before without success- because I was unable to build a good relationship of trust with the therapist- but this seemed different, and with a free call what did I have to lose?
I arranged the call and explained what I was going through, including my previous experience of Hypnotherapy. Ella understood what I was saying and listened.
She believed that she would be able to help me, but if at any point I felt that it was not working or I was uncomfortable I needed to let her know. I felt reassured by our chat and booked an appointment.
I have had a total of 6 appointments, during which Ella has helped me understand where my symptoms were coming from and helped me neutralise the bad memories so they don’t bother me anymore.
She taught me to value myself, and to see the truth of what I had been going through and that I was not a broken person.
She is very easy to talk to and to trust- which is really important. She uses so much more than Hypnotherapy and it has been an amazing experience. She also generously teaches you techniques that you can use after the consultations, which I use on a daily basis.

I sought out help from Ella due to anxiety surrounding driving. Despite being able to regulate my thoughts about driving logically, I was plagued by physical symptoms of anxiety that made the thought of driving difficult. The lead-up to driving filled me with dread, and even hearing about other people's negative driving experiences triggered second-hand anxiety.
After just one session with Ella, I experienced a dramatic improvement in my anxiety levels. Not only did she help me acknowledge the root causes of my driving anxiety, but she also equipped me with effective techniques to manage and alleviate it.

“I started struggling with extreme health anxiety after the traumatic 3 day birth of our wonderful daughter. It was during the pandemic, coupled with financial pressures, and severe lack of sleep from our newborn, that everything started to become too much.
I would find myself crippled with anxiety, Googling different types of horrendous diseases, feeling as though my nervous system was completely fried and wired at the same time.
This led to IBS symptoms which then made my anxiety about my health even worse.
When I began with Ella, she took the time and care to listen without judgement and really get to the root of what was going on.
