Is online Hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. online Hypnotherapy is completely safe. In fact, the presence of safety is of utmost importance.
Is online Hypnotherapy effective?
Yes- online Hypnotherapy for anxiety, pain, stress, addictions, phobias, and limiting beliefs can be remarkably effective.

I’m not suggestible- will online Hypnotherapy work?
Cognitive Hypnotherapy online doesn’t rely on depth of trance to be effective. It instead relies on trust between the client and therapist, and the willingness of the client to change. Online Cognitive Hypnotherapy absolutely can work if you are not suggestible, as long as you are willing.
I’ve never been hypnotised before- what is it like?
Being in Trance is a normal, everyday occurrence- it just feels like daydreaming, or meditation.
I will act as a guide, and with your permission will help you access memories and feelings that may be under the level of your conscious awareness.
We utilise the fact that Trance is an everyday phenomenon. You may feel relaxed, and a bit sleepy, or you may not feel very different at all.
How long will it take?
Our first session will include a detailed history take. The more I know about you, the better position I am in to effectively help you. The second session will include some personalised interventions aimed at solving your issues. I aim to have you feeling better as soon as possible, and for some people, this will be enough.
Some people will need more. Online Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a brief therapy, meaning we will aim for good results, quickly. But the progress won’t be rushed or forced.

Why do you offer online Hypnotherapy?
At first, I was seeing a mix of clients, some in person, some online, and some a combination of both. I noticed that I was getting the same great results with online Hypnotherapy as I was face to face.
I have since moved all of the work I do, including Cognitive Hypnotherapy, online, which brings a greater degree of freedom to work together, wherever we are in the world.
I have memories that I’d rather not think about. What if its upsetting?
Much of the time, our present problems are caused by emotional scars of the past, often from childhood.
Revisiting these memories can be painful- but I will never take you back to a difficult time in your life without helping you feel resourced enough to deal with it first, and it will always be with the intention to take the sting out of that memory, to release any pain associated with it.
We can’t change the past- but we can change our relationship to it. Once the emotional ‘thorn’ is taken out, you can grow free of the influence of any previous trauma. Often, after online Hypnotherapy, people report feeling lighter, freer, happier and calmer straight away.
Sometimes people need more than one session to dissolve the trauma attached to a memory. Sometimes we will need to use a certain technique more than once, or sometimes combining techniques is more effective.
Will I be in control?
You will always be completely in control of your thoughts and actions. I am never going to ‘make’ you do something that you don’t want to. I will earn your trust before proceeding, ask for your consent first, and check that you are ok throughout.
If anything feels overwhelming, I have techniques to give you some distance from the memory, so you can feel more detached during the process.
Does it always work for everyone?
I have had fantastic results using online Cognitive Hypnotherapy in West London for anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, stress, depression, phobia, health issues, limiting beliefs, addictions and more. I cannot guarantee that this approach will work- but the more open to and invested in the process you are, the greater the capacity for positive change.
How well does online Cognitive Hypnotherapy work?
Working via Zoom, I have had exactly the same good outcomes as working in person. You’ll need a good internet connection, some privacy, and a laptop or tablet.
As long as we can see and hear each other, you feel comfortable, and have a private space to work from, using Cognitive Hypnotherapy online can have fantastic results.

What are the disadvantages of doing Hypnotherapy online?
Personal choice- some people just prefer to work in person, and that completely ok. However, some of my clients have been pleasantly surprised at how effective online Hypnotherapy is.
Lack of rapport- clients can be concerned that working via a screen doesn’t have the same impact, and won’t feel as personal. I thought this too- until I found the end result to be the same. In fact some of my happiest clients who have experienced the most benefit I will probably never actually meet in person!
Technical issues- without a good internet connection, or access to a computer/ tablet, access to online Hypnotherapy can be hampered. Technical glitches may feel interrupting. However, I will always use a fast internet speed and give time before the session to check the connection, and I have a protocol in the unlikely event that there is an interruption.
Potential distractions- If you are at home, its important to let others in the house that you need privacy for the duration of the online Hypnotherapy session. You may need to get someone else to help out with the kids or dogs, for example.

Being able to be in the comfort of your own home- this is especially useful if you have mobility problems, agoraphobia, IBS, chronic pain, chronic illness or social anxiety
Distance is no object- I have worked with clients in the United States, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Morocco as well as all over the UK
Because there is so much choice on the internet, its easier to find a specialist that can work with your unique situation when you choose online Hypnotherapy, than it is to find a specialist in person
